An ON/OFF Valve has two states of operation either open or close. It is identical in operation to an electric switch. In other words, the on/off valve is the fluid equivalent of an electrical switch. Globe valve is used to stop, start, and regulate the uid ow. Globe Valves are used in the systems where ow control is required and leak tightness is also necessary. A Ball valve is a quarter-turn rotary motion valve that uses a ball-shaped disk to stop or start the ow.
